My recommendation is for you to try the Mobil one oil. Its fantastic oil and it does not cost an arm and a leg as the products in the trade do.
The Hermle oil is expensive and it does not prolong the life of their clocks.

I have been using Mobil 1 for a number of years now. I tried it on one of my own clocks and after 5 yrs no black or gummy oil. I also use Slick 50 mixed 50/50 with Mobil 1 for mainsprings. I haven't had one come back in several years of using it.

A product called GUNK is a silicone lubricant. It cleans, rustproofs, and is ideal for metal.  Made in the U.S..  I have use it for some now and have found it to be excellent.  Dr. Jack.
