About Clockmakers NewsletterClockmakers Newsletter publishes books on clock repair and clockmaking. Steven G. Conover created Clockmakers Newsletter in 1987 and continued to publish eight pages per month until the end of 2008. In addition, Steven has written nine popular clock repair and clockmaking books, retaining the Clockmakers Newsletter name as publisher. He continues today with the Clockmakers Newsletter Workshop Series. The extensive newsletter content is edited and reorganized by subject, in book form. Ten titles in the series have been published so far, with more under way.

About the EditorSteven G. Conover writes books on clock repair and clockmaking. His nineteen titles include Clock Repair Basics, a beginning book; Chime Clock Repair, a text covering the most common chime clocks seen by repairers; Building an American Clock Movement, which illustrates how to make a complete timepiece movement; and Repairing French Pendulum Clocks, covering several types of French clocks. As editor of Clockmakers Newsletter, Steven published an eight-page subscription newsletter featuring clock repair articles, repair tips, questions & answers, and product reviews, for over 21 years. He is working on a new Workshop Series based on Clockmakers Newsletter. Book 10 in the series was released in March 2021. Steven is a graduate of Northeastern University, Boston Mass., and a Fellow of the National Association of Watch & Clock Collectors (NAWCC).
